AS Level (Advanced Subsidiary Level) – usually taken in Year 12 (ages 16–17) – is the first half of a full A Level. It allows students to specialise in subjects they are most interested in, develop independent learning, research, and critical thinking skills, and prepare gradually for university-level study.

A Levels (Years 12–13, ages 16–18) build on AS Levels and let students demonstrate depth of knowledge and mastery in chosen subjects. Brook Hill School welcomes Serbian children whose first language is Serbian, as well as students from many other language backgrounds.
